Growing up in San Diego and specifically Logan Heights, one of the last things that I was concerned about during and after school was reading books !! and honestly I read very little, unless I had to. However after getting my real estate license and making the decision and commit to real estate 100%, reading and education became a big part of my daily life. Its been proven that every real estate agent that wants their income to grow must be willing to educate and feed their mind and reading is the best way to do this !!!! In order to keep going to the next level in real estate you must continue feeding your mind and gaining knowledge, in other words, you must always read books !!! I have read a ton of books and I have learned at least one thing from each one of them and I would like to share some of my personal “must reads” for all of you and a few of my all time favorites. So here they are in no particular order :

Covey This book was one of the first books i ever read and is still one of the greatest ever and has been a top-seller for the simple reason that it ignores trends and pop psychology for proven principles of fairness, integrity, honesty, and human dignity.
The E Myth by Michael Gerber I really enjoyed this book and it dispels the myths surrounding starting your own business and shows how commonplace assumptions can get in the way of running a business. He walks you through the steps in the life of a business from entrepreneurial infancy, through adolescent growing pains, to the mature entrepreneurial perspective, often overlooked distinction between working on your business and working in your business. After you have read The E-Myth you will truly be able to grow your business in a predictable and productive way.
