Growing up as a kid my dad had a saying(well he had a ton, but this was one of them) “If you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.” or something like that he would tell me. and that motivated me to come up with my own “if you surround yourself with non producers, then what happens to you ? you get my message!!!.” and i know mine is not as cool as my dad’s but it seems like they already came up with all the cool sayings. But on a more serious note, the fact is that the people/agents you surround yourself with matters !!! for a lot of reasons, They generate the opinions, humor and points of view that your mind is continuously subject to. The people/agents you’re friends with change—even create—who you are. And vice-versa. people and agents that you work with should treat people well, have a sense of humor, are interesting, and celebrate the success of others. It is Amazing how People/agents have a huge impact on your life !!! So what make someone a “good” person/agent to spend time with?
