No Business Cards? Its good !

Hello everyone !! I wanted to share with you a quick strategy I learned years ago from Gary Keller who is the Founder/owner of Keller Williams….

 

Here it is !!! the strategy is this…. Do NOT Hand out your real estate Business Cards!

 

Why the heck would I want to do that?

 

Here is why, and believe me, I was hesitant when I first started trying it too…. When we give people business cards it puts the person in control, whether they want to call me back or not, and in our business we want to be in control…. What I mean by this is if I were to give you a card… I am now relying on you taking action and calling me or emailing me… first I am hoping you don’t lose my card or put it through the washer and dryer… and I am going to have to wait for you to call me and get a hold of me.

 

NO!!! That is not how you want it to work ! I want to be in control. here is how it should work, When they ask you for a card you say “Oh I just ran out… what is your cell and I will text you my info right now (all this while your phone is out and in your hands) also are you on FaceBook, I will send you a Friend Request right now”.

 

Do this quickly so they don’t have time to think about it…. it puts you in control, now you have them on FaceBook list along with their cell so you can follow up and not sit around and wait for anything.  It is EXTREMELY effective! after you go thru this step you can always pull out a last minute Business card from your back pocket.

 

Attack this market !!
